Very Good Little Game!. Hate to make the comment section a broken record but yeah, the items are incredibly specific in their location and hard to find because of it. I've read the other comments so I know you're working to fix it, so I won't linger on that. The game has very good atmosphere, and the scare is actually incredibly jarring. Good Job, and good luck on future works! :)
For what this was, it was not bad. Could see some improvements like previously mentioned. The biggest one was the shopping part giving you have to replay the game twice for the other ending which I got all endings. Made a video on it.
Love mispronouncing things. Good game, by the way. Got the bad ending twice so I was a little annoyed by the time I did get the good ending, but that is almost entirely on me. Haha
I really wanted to play but it's extremely frustrating to pixel peep for the Groceries when the textures are so washed out that you can't see what is what.
That shopping sequence is ass and i stopped playing for a while because it seems like i can't find rice.
//Edit: I've watched a video and the Raycast is botched on the Rice (something is blocking it OR it's collider is too small), make them visually stand out (Outline or maybe a little particle effect?)
Atmosphere could be good. The Cop-Car wheezing by is a nice touch. But when walking back from the back, it gets broken up by the car crash where no one seems to care. And how can you just steal a car?
The usual extremely loud Jumpscare, and the fast road crossing looks goofy, but nothing that can't be fixed.
The strongest Sequence is the lights out in the shop, build upon things like this and draw them out more (and have them make sense). Because i was actually scared of what will happen in there.
You're doing good, i've added a link that may help, the Asset is free and easy to use.
If you put a little more time into the atmosphere and some Story elements, it will be great. Let moments linger and the scares will be stronger. Not everything has to have immediate effect, it can be there just to make the Player feel uneasy.
Awesome game, but the shopping sequence really stops the momentum of the story. Maybe the shelved items could be highlighted, glowing, or sparkling or something so the player can find them more easily. Aside from that, this is one of the best games I've seen on here in a while. Nicely done.
VERY SOLID horror game! This game has some VERY good moments that are super impactful. There is a bit of cloudiness however in certain areas of the game. I left some notes at the end of the video explaining what those are. Either or, this is a great short horror game that everybody should experience!
Really great game. The atmosphere is really great with the lit streets and dark forest contrast.
I would say the volume tends to shift quite a bit. Some things are much louder than others. Also maybe have a checkpoint after shopping so you can try for other endings without having to go through the whole game again.
Risuto-jō no aitemu o sagasu no ni 20-bu ijō tsuiyashita nochi, watashi wa akiramemashita... Subarashī gēmu no yōnanode, shūsei ga areba mōichido tameshite mimasu.
This was quite nice! I really enjoyed this game! I hope to see more projects! I managed to find both endings too. Here is my playthrough, with my final thoughts at the end! Good job!
I really enjoyed the game you made!I love urban legend stories. It was a little hard to shop around. But I'm glad they added Japanese.I was surprised that the voice was also in Japanese! Thank you.I hope someday they release a sequel or an urban legend series or something!
Fantastic atmosphere, gruesome action sequence and raw visuals, with an unfortunate issues, which can truly distract the player from immersion.
Now, coming from the amazing game "Eerie Enigma", I had high hopes for this. The visual style was unique, visceral, at times beyond the horror - legit good. The atmosphere felt fresh, the character designs were neat and the overall Teke Teke lore I did find disturbing. Performance was fantastic, as well as the game mechanics, which were user friendly and basic.
Although, I did have a lot of issues with the game. I've talked about it in my review, so I will definitely keep it short here. The beginning article is too long. I would suggest making it a bit short or maybe removing the sequence with the old lady, who basically explains the same thing over again, it truly felt a bit irritating. The car sequence, it was great, but I did not see any necessity and it added less sense to the plot rather than making it more mysterious (again, judging from the ending, which I've got. Maybe the second ending ties to that car somehow). And finally, the grocery store sequence - you got to direct the player towards the items they have to get. It is very difficult with pixelated style to see certain items, so I had to look for the Dish Soup at least more than 10 minutes. Furthermore, you can't look or pick up the items while the old lady talks to the cashier, so that was another minor issue for me.
Overall, besides those issues, the game is great. Having a small update would definitely help, in my opinion, but of course that's my subjective criticism for the game. I really enjoy your games and can't wait to see something better next time. Best of luck with the future projects. Cheers! Edit: Video took a while to load.

The biggest horror in this game is finding the fucking white rice. I lost my mind

Both endings:
